Under this transformative initiative, these resilient mothers and fathers engaged in a diverse range of training activities, including urban farming, food processing (baking), clean energy (briquettes making), business development skills, and mental wellness.

AWAK had the distinct honor of hosting our esteemed donors,The Croda Foundation, for the Resilient Recovery Project – RRP Project in a significant event in Nairobi County, where our dedicated field team, led by our National Executive Chair lady, accompanied the Executive Director of Croda Foundation, Mr. Rommel Moseley, and Grant Associate, Mr. Ben Smitton, got to visit beneficiaries from Korogocho and Kawangware slums – the heart of the RRP Project.
