In a bid to fortify their operational prowess and foster team unity, the Association of Women in Agriculture Kenya (AWAK) recently convened a two-day staff training and team-building workshop at PrideInn Paradise in Shanzu, Mombasa. The event, themed “Organizational Capacity Strengthening and Team Building,” marked a pivotal moment for AWAK as they commenced the new year with vigor and purpose.
The workshop, meticulously designed to empower staff members and hone their skills, aimed at ensuring heightened focus, enhanced cohesion, and unwavering dedication towards achieving AWAK’s set objectives and goals for the year ahead. Additionally, the gathering provided an opportune moment to meticulously review AWAK’s strategic plan spanning from 2023 to 2028, aligning organizational efforts with long-term aspirations.
Central to the success of the workshop was the incorporation of team-building exercises, strategically integrated to invigorate participants and galvanize collective efforts for the tasks ahead. The exercises not only fostered camaraderie among team members but also instilled a renewed sense of purpose and determination to effect positive change within the agricultural landscape.
