The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives in partnership with Association of women in Agriculture, Kenya - AWAK, World Vision, ICRAF, VI-Agroforestry, CTCN, Nature Kenya among other stakeholders prioritized and commenced the drafting and review of the Kenya National Agro forestry strategy in year 2021. Promotion of agro forestry has a twin gain of a sustainable and resilient agriculture as well as mitigating and adapting to climate and other environmental risks.
