Join us on 19th December, 2021, from 9am at AIC Church, Itolaeka, for a social engagement on unpaid care and domestic work, with the community.
Caregivers have been burdened with care, denying them an opportunity for social economic growth and development. Shifting mindsets is one way to change a narrative around reducing and redistribution of domestic work.
AWAK youth has scripted a short play/skit, that demonstrates care burden and explores ways in which households, community and government can intervene to reduce this burden, through various ways.
